Tuesday 29th Jan 2013 - The slab is laid!

MONDAY - start of week 3. Oh dear, 'pictures of drains are not very interesting'; however they are essential, and need to be done first.

No picture post today, as I have been out and about all day and now its dark - 5.30 pm.  But, I can tell you, wall is going up between sitting-room and hall, and it looks like the new bedroom excavation has been backfilled and tamped ready for sand layer and dpc - maybe Wednesday they will pour the slab!  It's so exciting for us.

FRIDAY - kitchen gone - wall props up to support remains of the kitchen; block wall rising and brickwork appearing

THURSDAY - today's demolition and construction........

WEDNESDAY - early a.m. what happened yesterday, and coming soon what happened on Wednesday - the covers are off, and ready for blockwork

DEMOLITION - its going to be a BIG room. And the drains are underway.

START OF WEEK 2 By lunchtime today the foundations have been poured and wrapped up warmly with insulation blocks and tarpaulin - the drains are the next thing.
